Canyon House - Menlo Park

Canyon House - Menlo Park, formally Eden Villa - Menlo Park, is licensed for 48 beds and specializes in the care of people with dementia, such as Alzheimer's. Staff undergo monthly training from the Alzheimer's Association. An appropriate care environment is maintained here with emphasis placed on careful monitoring of residents for changes in status, eating habits, administering of medications, comfort, sleeping habits, ablutions, wandering and general well-being. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of carefully managed and structured activities. Residents relationships with their physicians are thoroughly managed and documented.

A Description of the Home

All bedrooms are rated non-ambulatory. Apart from a state-of-the-art facility, a full complement of amenities are offered. Canyon House is state licensed as non-medical, providing the following staff and services:
