Crescent Villa - Sunnyvale

Canyon House - Sunnyvale, currently known as Crescent Villa, is licensed for 44 beds and specializes in the care of people with dementia, such as Alzheimer's. Staff undergo monthly training from the Alzheimer's Association. An appropriate care environment is maintained here with emphasis placed on careful monitoring of residents for changes in status, eating habits, administering of medications, comfort, sleeping habits, ablutions, wandering and general well-being. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of carefully managed and structured activities. Residents relationships with their physicians are thoroughly managed and documented.

A Description of the Home

Crescent Villa - Sunnyvale is licensed for 44 residents and consists of 22 shared and private bedrooms. All bedrooms have half baths and are non-ambulatory. Apart from a state-of-the-art facility, a full complement of amenities are offered. Crescent Villa is state licensed as non-medical, providing the following staff and services:
